Take a breath…

When you work from a home office, it's easy to forget to clock out and go back to your personal life. You forget to unplug… Today, though, Mack and I figured it was a good day to close the laptops and iPads, go outside and roam. We decided to go hike around Horseshoe Falls, a small waterfall with a swimming hole and trail near the Musgrove Mill Historic Site.

A brief history of Horseshoe Falls

Horseshoe Falls, near historic Musgrove Mill in Clinton, SC, is named after James “Horseshoe” Robertson. Robertson was a Revolutionary War Patriot that gathered information on the Loyalists' attack plans by hiding in a small cave at the falls. His information helped the outnumbered Patriots withstand the Loyalists' attack at the Battle of Musgrove Mill.
